Dunlop D207FGP

Anyone ever heard of this tire? I purchased a set of tires off this guy. He claimed they were both 208's. When I got the tires the front has athe pattern of the new 208's but the side of the tire reads Dunlop D207F GP.............never heard of this tire.

I did some research and found this tire model number. Howvere it has the 207 old style pattern

I'm going to put up some pics cuz I be confused.

This tire is an old model there were d207zr street tire and d207gp race tire. They were replaced with d208zr and d208gp. Heres a link of the new models. http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/tire...egory.asp?id=1

The confusing thing is that the front is a 207fgp with the new style 208gp tread pattern. The rear is a 208gp no question abotu that.

Is that a first generation soon to be changed to a 208gp?

Anyways how do you like the tires? Do they take forever to heat up?

How do they stick under normal everyday commuter type riding?

I go throught tires like mad on the Superhawk. The thing eats tires. I ride the bag out of it.
