I Dunno,
But if you think about it. if he Bought a 2001
in 06 and had to finance it.??????

He definetly Got Screwd and Overcharged and
maybe Even Raped in his A$$!!! Cuz thats rediculous
even if it had under 200 miles on it..

But then again he must be lying, cuz honestly how many
5 year old bikes you know with less than 500 miles on it ???

Re: what do i do now?>

Legit way... sell it cheap.

Not so legit way goes like this:

"Hello, insurance company? Yea, I want to put full coverage and gap insurance on my bike. Great, how much... super... here is my credit card. Thanks, have a nice day..."

1 week later...

"Hello, police? My bike has been stolen, crazy thing is I just put insurance on that bastard too... good thing I did or else I'd be screwed. Ok, well I'm filing a report, giving it to my insurance company, collecting a check and not living in storage. Thanks, bye now"

Pretty simple...

Re: what do i do now?>

can you get gap after the sale of the bike? Ive always seen it offered at the shop when you buy it, and never seen it at brokers after purchasing it.

Well, I wasn't very technical but the long and short of it is after you have purchased the bike GAP insurance is offered but after I think it's 6 months or so (maybe 3) you need to have it re-appraised. Once you have the appraisal in hand then your insurance company will accept it. And as long as the appraisal value is above that of what you owe then you are golden.

i mustve got a hidden charge or something cause the paper i got says final price 8,400 but ive payed over 2,900 and some change and they say i still owe 6,400? am i getting intrest taxed monthly?

it had like 198 miles on it. no road dirt, tire wasn't even anywhere near being broke in right. even had stock mud flap which i cut off with a hacksaw

and yea i got gap insurance but my insurance is high enough as is can barely afford liability on my vehicle as is.

i got theft insurance on the bike now cause thats only 30.00 a month roughly and if i get pulled over it looks like i have insurance cause they just sent me another card so im trying to be carefull driving around and **** till i can either sell it or what.

the stealership close to me says they will only offer 4500 cash.

i talked to another one down the road a ways and they said "they would buy it but just come down and talk" they got a few 600rr's that they was trying to off to me too

kbb.com said this bike listed for 6,400 but for some reason i guess thats not true

Re: what do i do now?>

damb son you did get fucked in the *** when you bought that thing. 8400 for a 5 year old bike that mabey cost 9500 new(or less)? My 05 r6 was 8100 new when i got it back in dec. 04. The used 04's with less than 500 miles were going about 1g less. You payed about 3g to much good luck getting rid of it for 6400 any one with that kinda $$$$ want's newer tec.

Re: what do i do now?>

Thats prob. cause the banks new you were getten the shaft at that price. I only buy from the dealer around new years becuose they know if I dont buy the bike they will have to sit on it for another 3 or 4 months. Its the best time to pick up a bike in our snowy *** part of the world. only buy when no one eles wants one ya got to bring a trailer but it saves loads of cash...
