Re: Twisties for the 1st time

love the twisties, to hear the knee puck draggin pavement is music to my ears.
i started just like yourself all i wanted to do was stunt and abuse my bike for the first year i had it then looped a highway whoolie,
that made me step away from the stunting for a min.
started riding w/ some guys that tore up the twisties and fell in love.
got back to the stunting couple years later and love to be able to rock both, Va has some killer roads for knee draggin
keep at it man the **** is as addictin as stunting.
but its just like stunting set your bike up right and it comes alot faster
master a pocket bike and a 600 will feel like slow mo

well for someone who apparently never rides rodes like that or even rodes that you never knew i dont beleive you either no way you would go 120+ on a twisting road youve never been on

you dont have to lie to make friends you know

Re: Twisties for the 1st time

Yeah twisties are fun!! Railing a 180degree turn, looking far ahead, your heart 2ft out your chest is just as fun as nailing a BP wheelie down I-5 for the 1st time. But watch out, I've seen many, many get really hurt crashing in the hills, some even life flighted out. Major pain and major bucks$$$$. In fact, I've seen more crashes from twisty riding then stunt riding. Just be careful, when manbearpig snatches your *** in the twisties he's relentless and unforgiving...

Re: Twisties for the 1st time

I don't care who ya are... twisties are fun. But 120mph, I'll believe 70-90 but 120 is a lot faster than you think. Not to mention if your friends bike is geared at all then that's an extra 10-15 mph right there on the speedo.

Re: Twisties for the 1st time

twisties are fun, I hit them sometimes on the 636, but not at 130 thats too fast for me! I hit them at about 70-90 tops, thats fun...

Re: Twisties for the 1st time

i had a few close calls in the twisties before 2.. 1st time i went i almost didnt make a turn and the bike wanted to straighten out while i was turning it was scary i dont know why it happnd but i managed to save it.. another time i was going to pass up cars and as i'm comin by this one car he wanted to go out and pass the slowest car up front as well and almost creamed me i had to give it some revs to let him know i was on the side luckily his window was down and did not go in front of me..

Re: Twisties for the 1st time

You are so ******* full of ****. You might've entered a "Curve," more like a "Bend" in the interstate or something. The roads I've ridden(including Deals-Gap a.k.a. Tail of the Dragon, Cherohola Skyway[nice sweepers], and a small portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway[it was raining, so suck ***!]) in NC/TN moutains, if you're doing 70 on some of the sweepers, thats' pretty damn fast. I've seen guys go faster, but they are more skilled and more protected than I have been. I'd just like to reiterate how full of **** you are. Show me the road you did that on, I'd like to see if my grandma would be able to do that same speed in her Tahoe!
