Fixing Rashed Stator Cover

Well....I got bored and decided to try something out. Had a rashed up Stator cover on my Project CBR. Tell me what you think...does it look better at the end???

After spening a little time with a side cutter and a Polishing/grinding wheel:

Got this far with Polishing. Need to get the right compounds to work it to a mirror finish. I stopped at this point right now.

Yeh, but it's still a stock cover. It's not going to be any stronger.

Cool looking, though. Now paint it matte black.
