Just unbolt the rear plate holder and make something yourself out of aluminum. A sheet of aluminum will cost you like $5. Cut and bend it as necesarry, then bolt that up. It will look nice and clean. [/B]
Okay you make it sound sooo easy...but I am not good at this kinda thing...if I see it then maybe I could copy someone's ya know...But I appreciate your help. I will figure something out that looks better than the big clunky stock stuff

Did you say you had the Scott's damper too??? if so, how much was it...you can pm me if you don't want to post it.

Thanks

Jay Carnes will become famous soon enough
I had a 2002 R6 - that I put the 2 brothers slip on - on it. sounded great. Sounded like a litre bike. I know what he was saying about some of the D&D they are pretty damn loud & raspy.

There are so many pipes out there, all sound nice. so it just comes down to looks.

I just ordered the black tinted blinkers for my bike. Front and rear together was under $50 and I also bought a new license plate bracket. They didn't have one out yet for the '03 R6 so I just ordered one for an '02 and I'll make it fit (just drill new holes if the existing ones don't work)

The guy at the shop that sold me the bike told me the same thing smb123 said - about making your own. I would have done it too, if I was integrating the blinkers into the brakelight. Since I went with rear turn signals after all I bought the bracket b/c it has mounts on each side to support them. (main reason I went with them was so the cops couldn't pull me over for the hell of it)

Sha Nay Nay if you're going to rid the rear blinkers just have your man make your plate holder for ya, it will definately save ya some $$$$....

A friend and I are taking a short road trip to Beavers Bend, Oklahoma tuesday. Supposedly the road goes into some mountains and there's some good twisties.....I didn't even know O.K had any mountains....lol. Anyway, I'm supposed to get my order in thursday, I'll get some pics of the new look and the rest I'll waste on the road. Should have them posted around Wed night.

Well...I am single again...so that's out ...but I want to see yours and see if I want them...(the black ones you got) I don't want cop problems either! ya know...I heard integrating the brake light into the signal is illegal...and I really don't want to make holes and put them on the sides (by the seat)

Have you seen a solo seat for it yet???

Can't wait to see your pics of the lights & the trip!
have fun

But if you want something with a relatively smooth sound but also 'deep' (in-line 4's don't get deep), you want a M4. They are good quality, decent performance, and have the sound you seem to like. I personally don't like the way the M4 slip-ons look, but I guess that makes me an image ***** for caring. Also, M4 supposedly has good customer service. [/B]
I have an M4 high mount on my F4i and love it. It has a nice deep sound, quality is good, looks good on my bike. Of all the guys I ride with, they say my pipe sounds the best.

Go to the M4 website, I believe I saw an R6 with one in it. They also have a little sound bit on there.

The pic below isn't the best but you get the jist. It is not bolted all the way on in the pic so it is a little closer to the body. The M4 also maintains the rear pegs if you want.

You're getting ripped off. $405 including mounting bracket from Kneedraggers.com for first gen R6.

That m4 high mount looks good on your bike bro!
A friend of mine has the same bike, I'm gonna have to tell him to check out your pic. It looks like the pipe would burn the hell out of a passengers leg if you took someone for a ride....but it's cool that it keeps the pegs.

I like your undertail too, the plate and turn-signals look good. Most the cosmetics on your bike is where I'm trying to get mine....still haven't seen any rear seat cowls I like for mine though. Anyway, nice bike!

I have had a few passengers on it. No one has burned their legs yet.

I got the undertail from Extreme Graphics in Canada. Check out the website. They got some cool **** on there. It ran like $250.00
