Re: 155mph ticket

all the sixes ive rode top out just over 155..only way youll see 175 is with gearing or his odometer switched to kilometers..

Roman you should be able to hit at least 154 on that piece..i think my carborated 99 f4 hit 155 on a good day...lol

Re: 155mph ticket

My 1,000 shuts itself off at 183. top speed eliminator

Hasn't happened to me, but i was clocked at 181 at punum !!

Don't get defensive but 165 is about what most new 600 top out at. Had a 02 r6 and that was about it no matter how long a straight i had.

If you are realy used to doing these speeds you would already know this

There are way too many things to factor in when you trying to figure out the top speed of a police unit, Such as the drag that a light bar will create, how much equipment your carrying, and the overall condition of the vehicle. I know for a fact a Police car isnt good for scrap iron after 60k miles, and if a $28k Charger can do 160mph why pay $280k for a Ferrari that will only do 190??????

Re: 155mph ticket

I've got my 06 636 up to 160 mph. With -1 and +2 gearing with a speedo healer. It was a looooong straight away on the interstate though. I was hitting the rev limiter in 6th gear.

i call BS to a thousand ignorant ******* who think their bone *** stock bikes will greatly exceed what the factory and independent professional tests post up as what top speeds are.... if your factory bikes really top out that great then you need to sign your happy asses up to start competing for the factory bike top speed classes at the maxton mile or the salt flats.... just my

Um....no offence to you but you must be on the pipe if you think your f4i can go 170.Indicated speed going that fast is way off from actual speed.

Re: 155mph ticket

i have an 06 r6 and they claim it will do 163-165. ive had the speedo read 170+ and i know its bs. 600cc just wont go that fast.

In the may 2005 issuie of super streetbike pg. 58 (worlds fastest all motor 600cc 178mph. thats with a fully built motor bored to a 636. They say the it cost about $5000 to build motor. so i call B.S. on 175 stock gxsr.
