Re: Ever laid a bike down?

i looped a standup at about 60 i slid into a cornfield, barely missed the speed limit sign that said 45 and hit a split rail fence. didn't have a scratch on me but whacked my knee really good and my head even better. i pulled a peice of the fence out of my lid after it happened. luckily the guy that owned the farm saw it came out with a front end loader scooped the bike up and hid it in his barn so the po pos wouldn't see till a friend with a truck came along. mad props to the farmer i owe him big

Re: Ever laid a bike down?

two weeks ago hit some sand in a corner went down at about 35. Here in the northeast we had been getting a lot of rain it's been washing sand a stones into the road in alot of places. never saw the sand.
First time in over 10 years of riding that I went down ON MY OWN on the street.

I feel you on that, over the summer, at work I pretty much tore the end of my clutch finger off and had to get it stiched all back together. Out of all the fingers, it had to be the clutch finger, what kinda **** is that.

It gets to be annoying, took a while to heal. And it still hurts after like 30 minutes of riding, but after it goes numb, its all butter.
