Lowering 2003 600rr

Hey guys, a buddy of mine just picked up an 03 cbr 600rr... but he cant reach the floor for anything. I was looking around at some lowering links, but my question is... should we lower only the back or both the front and back??

neither...tell him to su(k it up...it throws the geometry of the bike off and it will handle like dogshit...if you absolutely have to do it evenly on the frt and rear. I would suggest taking it to a suspension guru for help...they will be able to tell you how much you can go without ruining the bike and will get you the correct dogbones(lowering links) you need..

I would first try shaving the seat down on the sides so his legs arent spread so much...

but unless he is under 5' tall he should learn to ride the bike as it is

if he can deal with it the way it is i would suggest just leaving it. i lowerd my old gsxr and it handled like crap afterwards.but if he does decide to lower it i would do it evenly, at least thats what i did with mine, before i out it back to original ride hieght. how tall is this kid?
