Stereo

Ok when I was at SW06 Jacob had his Ipod mounted to his tank so he could listen while he rode. Now is there a setup especially for bikes to have a decent stereo like the Goldwings have. Small speakers but loud so people around can hear it like you would hear a car stereo... Anyone?

Re: Stereo

idk, i know it's gotta be loud as **** to be heard on a sportbike. i imagine it works on a goldwing b/c there is that big *** windshield creating a slip-stream affect....

that being said, i tried to listen to my ipod while riding, and at highway speed i had the damn thing on blast and my ears were about to bleed after 15 minutes.

Re: Stereo

Why would you want to mount speakers to a sportbike??? No way you'd be able to hear it.

Re: Stereo

I was stunting in a beach parkign lot the other night and 2 dudes on goldwings rolled in to watch. 1 guy cranked his stereo and it was so loud i could hear it accross the lot, while riding, wearing a helmet. Then we hit the streets and he came along, and I could actually hear it at highway speeds when he was in front. He must of had a few hundred watts, i was sort of impressed.
