It sucks but, sometimes you just have to take it as it comes. Think of it this way, you saved yourself from any possible injuries, larger fines, or even death!

Dang, that sux. Are there alot of riduhs that try to out run the cops alot? I know over here in West Texas and Southern New Mexico, they are putting up cameras all over the place. So even if you do out run them, they still have a desription of you and your bike, that is if they didn't grab your plate number. We even have a bunch of cameras on our freeways over here. I am just wonderin who likes the thrill of the chase.

if you have to think about running dont run ,for me my brain kicks into manual override when i see blue lights and im gone.oh yeah that probably wouldnt happen as much if i had a liscense.because of that fact ive been in numerous chases only caught once because of a roadblock .my bike was blue and white last year its black and silver now.back to being a blur ftp

Oh I agree...usually it is automatic but I was riding with a few people I knew and they would have ran but we also had a few people we just met so, was not sure what they were going to do and I was in the middle so of course had to think...that sucked!

yup been in a similar situation,we see cops and plan to run but dont know if the new guys will try and run and crash or stop and tell the cops who we are,so sometime you have to stop.....and take the beatin, but the last time that happened the trooper was real cool and let us go,he musta had a donut craving and wanted to get headin! you just never no.

Word up G money

I hate those pink ticket givin S.O.B. It has gotten so bad where I live I can not drive through town without being harassed. SO I just load my bike in the back of my truck and take it to wherever I ride which is usually parking lots where I permission to ride so if the Po Po roll up I can have the pleasure of telling them to get f***ed and get out of my face.

UUUUUUMMMMMMM if u r goin 37 mph over (hell if ur goin 5 mph over) u are still breaking the law. A police officer has to put a roof over his/her head and food in his/her mouth (and in alot of cases fend for the rest of his/her families also) therefore they are only doing the job they are asked to do.

flip the script for a minute.............lets say u sell bikes for a living. A guy comes in and says to you "hey buddy i want this bike, i know the dealership only pays 8,000 for it from the factory, so sell it to me for 8,000." u would tell him no correct?????? If u didnt tell him no u would lose ur job!

Even better lets say said cop is a good guy and cuts u a break and lets u off, you would probably think hes pretty cool for doin so right? Well lets say that same cop cut the guy down the street who ran that red light the same kinda break, so that guy thinks **** i got away with it before so y stop at this light? So he cruises right through a red light and right in front of u hittin u on yer bike! How cool/how ell was the cop doin his job now?

listen im not sayin im an angel and i dont do nothin wrong (those that know me here know that is very far from the truth! lol) but im not gonna get pissed at a cop because he pulled me over for a valid reason and just does his job! i dunno .................. let the bashin begin i guess!
he's right....i dont run...i'd rather deal with some tickets then end up in a hospital some where....also i have been let of many times by cops. sometimes just getting a lesser ticket is good...i always treat cops with respect out of the hope that they will respect me and they usually do. usuall when i get pulled over its places where i know i shouldnt be doing what i'm doing....but usually when i'm out of the way on a back road or something they dont harass me....i guess its just hit and miss with cops....some good some bad..some good that just need to do their job to support their families.

Replay to MR. Undercover Agent

Okay I do get your point, which is true for the most part. But their is alot of what ifs in it. A cop is just trying to do there job and support themselves but there is a million of other things they could be doing instead of giving out tickets to guys on street bikes. Which brings me to my other point how many guys do see pulled over on a Harley or a big bike like that? None. So the cops are out anyway to pull guys on streetbikes no matter what they are doing. So. I still say f**k the police they should be out trying to catch real criminals instead of sitting on their *** eating doughnuts hiding out on the side of the road waiting for bikes to go by. Answer to Slinky to , I also get your point to but when first started to ride I would pull over and hope for the best but it just never worked for me, and I can't stand having that pink piece of s**t in my pocket and having to take to my lawyer the next day because he has made a living off my ***.

I too stand by "FTP" ! and what I was saying earlier
is 99 out of 100 cops are trying to be the tuff guy with the gun,but if your lucky you'll find that 1 guy that isnt out to get you..
and that one guy probably owns a bike and knows its almost impossible to drive that sportbike within the limits.....
and I do agree with whoever said that about the Harleys,
those bastards get away with tons! I watched a cop sit there
while a whole pile of hogs went through a red light and just turned his head ........now lets try that,we'd be screwed!!!!

just this saturday night, it was too cold to ride, i was headed out by a buddies house and there were 4 state troopers FOUR sitting at one turnaround, how many bike killing drunk drivers are you gonna catch chillin' talking to your friends discussing who you gave tickets to today? im with everybody else, ive been harrassed for sh*t i haven't done (i know the difference between deserving it and not) more often then i think ive deserved so f*ck the doughnut poachers.
