Whats the deal with the 636 motors?, my boy blew his like a month ago and now mine blew today .......I dunno if i wanna waste the money to get another one or get rid of this thing and go with something else....anyone interested in a 636 with a blown motor???

 

weird..im hearing more and more about these things blowing up...oil pick up problem?

Not sure why it blew......it blew on the eway 3rd gear spreader maybe a lil over a mile...and I heard a pop.........not really into bar tricks so Im not on the bar often and I replaced the cct about 2 weeks ago......I havent really beat on the bike like I did my 900, I actually baby the **** out of it.......still deciding on sellin it (other than the motor the bike is mint), partin it out or givin in and buyin a new motor......the thought of going back to a Honda puts a smile on my face:YEAH

 

you dont have to be ON the bar to lose oil pressure

Other than the motor the bike is mint....just repainted red and wheels navy blue...powers cage, 905 bar, axel sliders front and rear, 55 rear, title clean and clear, sub straight, frame in excellent condition....heres a few pics, pm me an offer if your that interested

rode same bike, same motor for 2 years of constant beat downs...no worries. didnt mess with the cam chain tensioner either....

4 full quarts and usually you are good....but, you should def get a 6rr: the new bandwagon bike!

Yeah i should have left the stock cct in it, no problems with it till I changed it...replaced em in the hondas i owned and everything was all good change this and bam!.....oh well, i found a motor just need to get a lil cash together.....however once the new motor is in I willbe sellin this one and going back to a Honda:YEAH .......or Ill sell as it if some1 wants to work out a deal on another bike.....are the 6rr's what everyone says they are?????
