(Funny) How stupid can you get?!?

I wanted to pick up a couple of items on my lunch break. So I called the Walgreen’s pharmacy to see if it’d be okay if I pulled into the drive-thru and have one of the clerks get the two items I need (I was afraid to leave my motorcycle outside, the store is in a bad neighborhood).
The girl I spoke to put me on hold so I could talk to the manager. I tell him that I’ll be riding my SPORTBIKE in and that I’m afraid to leave it outside. I asked him the same question I asked the girl I’d previously spoken to about the drive-thru. He says, Just bring it inside and that it’s no problem. I’m like, are you kidding me? He says no, not at all, just bring it to the register and we’ll put it behind the counter. (At this point I don’t realize he thinks it’s a bicycle because I’m in shock……yes I’m a natural blonde). So I ask him if he is serious? He keeps insisting. I try one more time, and I ask him if he really means it? He says come on in.
So I get there and I roll right thru the front doors of the store and down the isle so as not to block the front register. The minute I park the bike I look up and see the manager standing there with an employee. I say, Are you the guy I spoke to on the phone? He’s like yeah……then he stares at me for a very long time. He says, I was under the impression that you were talking about a bicycle. I say, well – is it OK? He stares at me for awhile and then says, Yeah go ahead and get what you need. It’s ok.
So I purchase my items, put em in my back pack, flip the bike around on it’s kick stand and walk it out the front doors. A lady in line I passed on the way out says to me, That bike looks too big for you. I just nod and keep going. There were so many customers there just staring at me the whole time. I felt stupid about the whole thing, but it was too funny and I couldn’t stop laughing at myself.
