Front end is slipping and sliding?
Front end is slipping and sliding?
Noticed the other day when I took my bike out for the first long term ride down the highway, it felt a little strange.
When I first took off down the highway from my driveway, the **** was slidin everywhere, and I figure just a little water on the road still from rain earlier.
Then I go to make a right turn, and I notice the front end gets kinda loose and shaky on me.
Whats up with that ****? When I got it wrecked, I had to replace my forks. If one of the triples were bent, could this be the cause? Maybe my brake is only grabbing on one side of the front rotor, maybe?
Any other things I should look into? Maybe something small im over looking?

Re: Front end is slipping and sliding?
it wouldnt matter if only one capliper was gripping some bike only have one rotor. it would have just been a cold tire. or possibly grooves in the road, or both. Also check that everything is tight and you have good air pressure.
