RoadTrip

Just was thinking about doing a roadtrip this summer down south or something. I was just wondering what kind of creative solutions are there to bring a few sets of clothes. I was thinking a backpack of course but that will get filled pretty quick and prolly get annoying on my back for hours. I dont want any luggage accesories/tank bags cause i dont like that on sport bikes. And i already thought of bungee cords to put things on the back seat. Any other ideas? What other common problems have you faced when on a roadtrip?
