i dont know for sure, but, pretty much everything is the same mechanical wise year to year on the f3's..... just get the plastics you want and be done with it, but if you want to be original, do something different.... we put a 929 *** end on my friends f3, and a 929 upper..........

Are you talking about putting a 600/1000rr bodykit on the f3?
If so, a few issues come to mind. The 600rr doesnt have a conventional tank, it has a tank cover and the real tank is mounted below that. What would you do, place the 600rr tank cover over your f3 tank?
Secondly most if not all mounting points will be different between the two bikes so you would probably have to fab up new mounting brackets.
You would probably have to mount the upper fairing with the 600rr upper fairing stay. You may need an adapter bracket to mount that to the steering neck as the height may be different.
Is the frame width narrower or wider on the 600rr? If it is narrower, the body panels may not go around the frame without stretching them.
Then comes the tailsection. You are either going to have to trim the subframe, or allow the tubular subframe hang out below the 600rr fairing.
For wiring, personally I would use the f3 wiring. I would probably splice off the f3 single headlight wiring to make one of the 600rr headlights be low beam, one be high beam. Or you may be able to make both be regular and both be high beam.
Anything can be done if you have the time/money to invest. Hell I saw a hurricane aka cbr f1 with 01 929 fairings on it for sale on ebay a few weeks back. My only question is why? Why not just pickup a used 600rr?
Good luck in what you choose. I am sure it would be a fun project.

^^ he's right. Your talking alot of time/money to try to make it work. The tail on the RR is way smaller, the seats are way too different, and the front end will require some creative fixes to get the instrument cluster to tuck into the RR body. If anything buy race plastic trash your cluster, and go with aftermarket with your speedo and tack. You can buy all sorts of lighting for the tail and front end. I've done this before so realize this will be a long process filled with trial and error. You could easialy spend $2,000.00 is it worth it to you??
