If we were really trying to get "away" from racism, we wouldn't have to check our race on anything. We also wouldn't have channels like BET, because Black Entertainment Television is the only race that can get away with that...can you see the response to White Entertainment Television? There wouldn't be groups that distinguish themselves such as the KKK, NAACP, or various other racially named groups. Not all muslims are terrorists, just like not all gun owners are murderers. I don't believe that the messages that were sent were to "convert" anybody to become muslim as much as they were to incite anger and fear. If you would like to ban all the racists here, think about a few things before you speak...when was the last time you didn't get nervous when walking alone at night and pass by a group of people who are a different race than you? How many females of differet races would you seriously consider dating?
Granted, America is a melting pot. Our most basic laws are based on religious ideas, and even though we're supposed to have a seperation of church and state...how many voters here go to a church to vote? It's not the muslim ideas that got the guy banned, it was the fact that there is a time and place for everything...this is not the place, and it was not the time....racism had nothing to do with it.

I fixed the one I missed.........as for the rest, good discussion points. The main point Stunter was banned was it was Spamming of the site. If you have a point, you don't have to post it 15 times in 15 different threads/posts that are unrelated to the matter.

racism is such a touchy subject. Prejudice will always be around wether its towards bikers, young people, a certain race, etc. I just like to see for myself before I make assumptions.

racism is just plain stupid, and is only brought on by negative inflounces.
i went to a 91% black male elementary school, and 1-5th grade, i made no distinction between white and black.
it wasn't till i got older and heard some racists that i realized that i was surrounded by black poeple (not a bad thing)
growing up in that enviroment has taught me not to judge poeple merely by what they say/do.
you can do what ever you want, but i'm not gonna judge you by those actions, I'll hold back until i know who you are REALLY.
poeple are fake and stupid, EVERYONE is fake and stupid.

of course you get that feeling, i get that feeling around white poeple too, but i dismiss it.
When i see a hot girl walking around in a TINY skirt, i thinking that i wanna lift that up and get to work.
it's weither i act on that thought or not, or let it affect me, that matters.
If you walk into a all black store,and start feeling out of place, dismiss that feeling and you'll fit right in.
I've got tons of black friends, the highschool that i go to now is 51% black male, with a 46% drop out rate.
It's taught me how to deal with poeple that i have nothig in common with, and finding things in common with poeple that i don't know.
