squeaky front brakes
Just about every time I come to a stop, my front brake lets out a couple of squeaks at low speed. I noticed that it did not produce a squeak right after I washed the bike and took it for a ride. I had to use the front brake about 7 - 10 times before the noise reappeared. The front brake also has a slight pulsing at the same low speed braking. The bike only has 20000 kms on it and from what I can see, there is plenty of brake pad left, but still an annoying squeak, any ideas
Re: squeaky front brakes
It could be that your rotor is a bit warped. That would explain the pulsing, and if it has high and low spots then it would rub the pad in different ways and cause it to squeak against the caliper. I'm not sure if they can turn bike rotors or not, I've never really heard of it being done. When you washed the bike it probably got a little soap and water on the pad and the caliper, and it didn't start sqeaking again until you were back to bare metal against the pad.
They do make some spray stuff that stops brake squeal on cars, you could pop the caliper off and try that. It keeps the pad from rubbing back and forth in the caliper, which could be the source of the squeak. Just be sure not to get it on the business end of the brakes.

Its probably a GSXR and they all do it........mine is the rear and it goes away once the pads and rotor are up to temp but is fustratig to hear......I have heard of this from other peeps too.
