The reason I'm asking is cuz I'm selling my 636 and plan to maybe get one(I like to try different bikes) it would only be for 2-3 months because I never keep a bike longer that 3 months because I like to find good deals and put them back up for sale soon after. maybe a history of my previous bikes so you can see what i'm coming off of.

1998 cbr900rr ( 1 month )
1999 r6 ( 3 months )
2000 929rr (4 months )
1997 900rr ( 1 month )
2003 636 ( 1 month so far)

I have looked at buell forums but most ppl that own these bikes dont own it for the reasons that I want one for, so I'm hoping to find sombody on here that owns one and can tell me if it's a good bike or not ( XB9 or XB12 )

Btw I'm not a hard core stunter, I dont stunt slow stuff I just like to ride wheelies on the highway and some stoppies etc.

 

I am friends with people at a Harley dealership and have ridden a xb9r and 12r a few times.....I personally dont like them, but I have never owned one.Best advise I can give you is to test ride them first(waay too expensive to buy without riding first)

I have one... 03XB9R Its got tons of torque, but highway wheelies would be tough on it...I love it in the corners..front brakes are great.. It just doesnt have the liter class power of the jap bikes, but its quick around town... I got the 954 for the highway..

 

rode both and they actually are pretty well balanced and fun to ride. you can hit highway wheelies n/p. if you like torque you will like this bike.

 

Do you think it can be picked up at 70-80mph or is it out of breath at taht speed ??? I want a used one that's for shure, prolly a xb9. Hopefully I'll get to ride one from a private seller before I buy.

For the guy asking about my zx636... it is for sale right now in the trader(actualy will be next week) but this bike is too new and I'm asking a lot 7200 obo$, but it has 600miles looks like it came off the showroom floor. I wasnt really looking for a 636 but I traded some guy my atv + $$$ for it so that's why I picked it up. whaen I bought kit it has 300miles on it. Im giving this price a try. If you want a "new" bike for 1000-1400$ less, this is the one
