Hideaway plates?
I saw a link here a few days ago for a license plate cover that goes from clear to gray with the touch of a button. Can anyone send me a link to the page that sells these?

I actually made a plate hider similar to fasttags, when it folds up and under. I origionally wanted it to be elecric but since I am not much of anelectrician I did it manually. I bought a Lawnmower throddle cable with the switch you slide back and forth at my local hardware store, mounted it to the subframe right next to my left leg with a hose clamp (After I cut some of it's width down), slid the cable behind the fairings and under the seat, cut it to length and attatched it to the bottom left hole of my licence plate. I also attached a hinge to the plate bracket and the plate itself. I had to paint the screws on the plate so you couldn't tell that it had screws going through the middle of it though. it works pretty slick, kind of tough to move when you are on the fly though. Just thought some of you MacGeiver types like me might find this interesting.

My buddy Muppet did this 7 years ago on his Gixxer. He used a power door lock actuator from an S-10. Alarm shops sell them for cheap. Now they're actually selling kits for it. Doh! There goes that million dollar idea..hehe
