I heard the 05 1000 was released in Australia yesturday. Anybody hear anythign about it?

I was sorta wondering why I hadn't seen one yet. I didn't know they weren't released right away. I was expecting everybody and their dog to be riding one by about this time.

 

You probably won't see them until late march or april. I don't think we're getting the all black one in the states.

 

man thats a sweet looking bike.that suks if you cant get the black here-- when i bought my '03 the color i really wanted was the burnt orange and black- and of course , not available in the states. i was bummed but i forgot about it as soon as i started riding

bikel looks nice but that exhaust is butt *** ugly.

 

it's a lot uglier in person. Went to the cycle show in chicago yesterday. Tail section is ugly as hell along with ugly exhaust. I dont know....maybe it will grow on me but i kind of doubt it.

 

They usually come out the days before bike week starts in early March...

A yellow one was ridin through my town yesterday. The blue on it is not so hot.

and the turn signals intergrated into the mirrors = GAY

other than that. its a pimp bike

edit: its kinda like the 04/05 F4i. its a sweet bike exept the gay *** bananna seat.

 

To each his own. This bike has been cleaning up on the race track already this year. I took it for a spin today and you don't really notice the blasts of power like the 02, 03 1000 because it has such a smooth power band, but it pulls hard in every gear. I also slammed in down into first at about 60 and not a bit of chatter in the rear wheel thanks to the slipper clutch. It's a tiny bike and kind of feels like an R6 with how upright you sit. By the way, the black and yellow is the fastest.

 

Why would the color have anything to do with the power? I am a suzuki guy, but this 1000 is butt ugly b/c of tail section...........The exhaust shouldn't matter b/c most people remove those b/f they leave the dealer.

My $ .02 is that the bike would be hot if not for the tail.
