What do u guys think of the new 2005 ZX-6R?

 

i just saw one for the first time in person today, and its pretty tight. Except i read somewhere that the 05' 636 gets the slipper clutch from the zx-6RR . dont know how good that is for engine brake stunnin.

Its looks sick though

Compared to the 04 636 I don't like it at all, although I've never ridden the 05. For one thing you can't see the gauges because the windscreen is in the way........ And the front has such a cone shape. It reminds me of a dolphin or something.... The 05 is a bottlenose 636.

 

It's bulky, wide, and heavy feeling. Sat on one today, I don't like it at all.

I wasn't liking the new upper either, and personally i like a big fat can hangin off the side of my bike.

I wouldn't trade my 04 636 for one! but i'm sure it still kicks a$$!

 

whats the difference between the 03-05 636...they redesigned the zx6rr and i think it looks freakin awesome, undertail, zx10 designs and other stuff, i dont like cow's but that one is real nice

 

I like it even though it's 7 pounds heavier. The seating position is more comfortable than the '03-'04's.

it looks nice,but the 03-04 looks awesome.

 

It'll look even nicer with a cage, chopped windscreen and a trashed exhaust from hitting the pavement too many times.

 

ya that front end just doesn't do it for me. i liked the smaller fairing on the 03-04. but i still think it's a pretty bad *** bike the 03 was rediculiously fun.
the 03 wasn't very comfortable, my nutz still hurt. i would take the 03-04 over the new one.

 

03-04 looks ugly in my opinion. The 2005 is sooo sharp. I love the new headlights! the tail is sharp too like the ZX-10R.

I read a few test ride reports on this bike, and its making about 136 HP on the crank!

Its gonna smoke all the 600's and give the 9's a tough time!

 

the 05 is totally different.....has all the 10r mods form the 04, along with most of the racing components from the RR, and is faster than the 03 636, and it resembles the 10R....also it has the under tail exhaust along wioth the 6 spoke rims and the bike itself is just amazing

 

they are pretty kawa has turned stuff around past few years!

 

Its just another Kawasucki and it probably is still carbed also.....when are they going to step it up ...................ever or never....

The 05 636, i think is the ugliest bike out this year. Its bigger then the 04, the windshield is ridicolous and the front end is ugly as fock. definately a squid machine.
