Put it this way, you are not a "REAL" rider unless you have your license! Come on give me a break, how hard is it to go to the DMV and do the writen test, then take the driving test! Anyone who can not pass these tests don't deserve to be on the F'n street! So all you young people who want to ride, but won't put in the effort to take the test, STAY OFF OUR STREETS, your gonna kill one of us! You have no business being on the street! Grow up and get your license! I work at a local motorcycle shop here in California, and we will not hire someone unless they have thier license! Just my

It's true. It's not worth the trouble for not having a license. The written test is common sense and the driving test is easy enough to do on one wheel.

Why is it that these kids think it is "cool" to be a rebel and not get your license? All I have to say is that you will lern your lesson the hard way when you get pulled over, notice I said "when" and not "if"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grow up and be mature!!

Got mine when I lived in NJ after taking the MSF course ten years ago. It was a tough test with a ton of computerized questions. When moving to KY, it was 10 simple questions. Big difference in the states! The MSF course now gives you your license in KY when you complete the course, plus the insurance discount. Can't beat that.

in Tennessee you take the MSF driving course and a motorcycle test. Then if you haven't already taken the rules of the road test ya gotta take that

We used Honda Rebel 250's for ours. Man those bikes sucked. The last day of class, I rode my 600rr up there, and then had to get on that pos for the rest of the day. Fukk it, got my licence, and I'll never ride one of those cruiser wannabe bastards again

I rode for 15 years without one, I think it kept me safer actually since you always had it in your head to play it cool unless you wanted your bike impounded. Recently I got busted for doing a wheelie on the highway so I had to get it done for court. Well I got the permit part, but still need to do the riding test but its been raining alot.

Yea, they do suck. I have one and it's slow as hell but I still wheelie that thing.

Hahaha i took that course too with my friend to get a licence. he had to ride a 125cc and was tryin to pull wheelies on it all day when the instructor wasnt lookin. I never rode a bike til that day and they taught me everything so its good to take it. And i cant believe people ride 250cc's thats what i had in the training session and i maxed it out by the end of the day... no power at all.

Easy to get a licence why not get one and be legal

Got my licences a week after i got my permit i took the MSF class at my college.....tons of fun untill it rained and we still had to do the riding test, i passed only one with a perfect score....YEAH.......Better safe then sorry my father rode with a permit for a while till they uped the price for taking the test on him....i think its 14 for the first 2 times then it goes to 25 every year after that....I THINK....gotta love NY STATE
