I've got mine. I rode over a year without one (in texas) until my boss offered to pay me to get it. I work for a really cool boss at a motorcycle shop. Once a year he has the employees with out a Motorcycle license go to the closest D.P.S. ( or DMV in other states). That way we can all ride the demos.

I dont have one and i got pulled over in Texas. they told me if i got my license within 2 weeks it would only be a $125 fine. If i didnt it would be $260

for the guys who got their license and everything. can some1 explain to me on how this process works? im gettin my first bike in about a month then headin up to college about a month or two after that and i wanna hurry up and get my license before then. my parents are makin me take a motorcycle safety class or whatever at the local state college.. can any1 tell me what thats about? like will they help me learn how to drive my bike cauz i wont have that long to practice before i wanna get my license. i mean my dad owns a business and has about a good 2-sq acre pavement area that i can practice on but they want me to take the course and everything right away and i dont think they will let me drive the streets without my license.

If you can pass the Written,and are Comforitable with The Bike Ya ride

i ride my yz 250 on the back roads here and there. i got rolled a couple times but i just b/s them and say i was returning from some trails and won't do it again. i can't get a lisence until july.

I got mine when I was 16. I lived in Bullhead City Az, and its a small town so you didn't have to take a driven test. Just a written test.:YEAH I sent my girl through a motorcycle course and she got her endorsement at the end. I think that is the best was the do it.
