Funny Little Car....
Re: Funny Little Car....
I think that's the one by john's house. Ed and I were driving down the road I happened to have the camera and he stopped in the middle of the road so I could snap a pic of it LOL
Re: Funny Little Car....
Already Done. that thing smoked a Mitsubishi EVO 8.
MCC Smart ( formerly owned by Mercedes and Swatch ( yes, the swiss wristwatch manufacturer ) became fully german some two years ago.
It's a "smart" car, indeed: there's more electronics and active driving technologies in that car, and functional design,
than in any E-Class Mercedes-Benz.
And they claim for the same safety standards, as an E-Class. True.
In Europe it's "trendy", it's a girlie car:
We've got few parking lots, narrow downtown historical streets it can fit in,
it's small, underpowered yet simple,
you can take any plastic panels off, and have it
in any colour you want:
just keep spare panels in your backyard ( that's a special compound, won't fade, won't crack) and, if the cops are chasin' you...
that's a 5 minutes's work.
There's a 5-gears robotized gearshifter: Sequencer - like in the F1 - or automatic.
That'd be heplful for you US drivers, helpless in driving cars with a gearstick
It's quite unuseful in the US, indeed: else than in big crowded towns,
that small 650cc turbocharged engine wouldn't be your first choice
for ramming throug midwestern infinite highways:
but it's cheap, and safe - safer than a Chevy Suburban though -
and exotic.
but if you plan on running it
on the Death Valley, it's uselss.
