Sick cages are similar to a powers cage. A little different though. Bob's powers cage broke his case once a week and i haven't broken one yet. Oh and sick cages are $200. HOLLA www.sickinnovations.com

i wouldn't go with 905.. actually i would go with anything excpet either FI or powers...

FI - Easier on/off, lighter (you can feel it on the bike) and less intrusive while riding (that means its never in your way) and the new design is definately stronger than before, don't ask how i know this from experience! LOL

Powers - More diesel design, will take mutiple HARD hits better, angled back support keeps it away from your shins (a problem many 905 guys have)

like i said, all have pros cons... take your pick

john what the f@ck are you talking about i am not yelling

I built my cage too, copied basically a powers but added gussets for strength everywhere.also added bigger plates to absorb shock at motor mounts Did this after my 905 cage's welds broke, pipes broke in half,(a small crack that started at weld and grew due too vibration) and finally twisted so bad i needed a sawzall to cut it off. They use chrome for the stub ends and mild steel for the rest. Then they dont use the right welding wire to give it the strength the welds need.Custom took 12 hrs to build and is painted with spray paint with no clear coat( not to mention the scrap ****'d up bends).I have been offered to build one for others and I told them to go buy a powers. Powers may be a little pricey but definitely worth the money ,have seen bikes dropped from 12 over and over again and they hold up. Steve has the only 905 cage I've ever seen hold up

Well, My friend Jamie just picked up a 01 to 03 Gixxer 6 just for stunting and I was wondering if you all might recommend a cage... I know normally it's just try and see what works best for you but you guys got alot of experince with cages for gixxers.

Maybe you all might have the hook up on cages? John..Ed, you guys can PM me if you want.

Let me know... He stunts his quad and knows rear brake control but wants to transfer that to his street bike.

Yo Kelm, i have a 02' GSXR with a freestyle cage,,, its done the job for me , just layed it while a wheelie got squirlly on me, flipped on both sire and slid down the road about 100 ft or so,, still in great shape,

the only negative thing i have to say about it is that it scrapes,, especially when you come down from a wheelie hard.

From what i heard 905's are straight but they should come with a pair of shin guards. We have spring loaded cages at the shop "All Out Performance" I forgot who made them or the cost but hit richie or chris up.

Good Luck
