college essay..tell me what u think if u care...
When growing up, you grow up with many goals set back in your mind. You force yourself to believe that no matter how hard a task might be, you’ll strive even harder to accomplish it. I have always been taught to “Reach high, and dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.” I live my life day by day with this quote set in the back of my mind, for if a barrier comes along between me and my goal, I know that my determination will get me through it.
Inspire. To spur on, impel, motivate; to draw forth or bring out; to incite. The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey does all of these. Not only has the college been inspiring, but has also given me the feeling that I would be challenged in more than just academics. I would be highly engaged and involved hands on in the area of my study, Marine Biology. Most importantly, I would belong to a place that gave off a feeling of warmth similar to the feeling of being back at home.
I believe with the excellence I have achieved and the excellence of the college, I will be able to accomplish not only educational goals, but also personal and professional goals as well. I believe that by taking the Marine Science Program offered at Richard Stockton, my professional goal will be more than just reached. It will reach to higher levels of my satisfaction.
It has always been a dream goal to represent The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. I hope that my achievements, activities, services to the community, honors and awards, and strong drive to achieve have led me to be considered an Osprey in the Fall 2006 season.

I stumbled upon this board the other day when Kelm linked me to it to read about his crashing into a UPS truck ... other than that I have never visited this board before - or I might have asked ... LOL ...
