I got a new camera for Christmas!!! I tried to post a pic of it from the internet but it won't work but anyways its a Canon EOS Rebel 2000 with the zoom lens 28-80mm it's so sweet! You'd be proud

Thats cool. i haven't read the whole book on yet it's pretty big But i have taken three rolls of film so far Jay6 couldn't get it out of my hands at all yesterday

 

I've used about 1 roll, but I'm not sure how many the wifey's used. She won't let me have it. I actually was able to take it with me today and I'll grab the digital camera I have here and post a picture of it in a few.

i'd like to have the digital in the future, but this one'll work really good right now, I'm gonna get a couple different lenses for it.

Bill what do you recommend I get for the first extra lense. keep in mind that most of the pictures that will be taken by this camera will attempted stunts, and with the exception of the wifey who is really good at taking pics I'm the only other person who takes half decent pics. For the most part it's just one of the other guys not doing anything but watchin so we make them take pics.

 

well for starters go get a 50mm f/1.8 it's only 70 bucks at B&H photo.

Thats a good low light lens

it really depends on how much cake you have to spend. and keep in mind that these lenses can be used on your camon digital when you get one.

 

i was just on Canon's website and read up on all that **** which is really cool. i was thinking about getting the 28mm-200mm for my first lense, most of the pictures will be taken during the day, so lighting i'm not much worried about. I am going to get a different flash also, but the lenses will come first.
