I know everyone in our group who runs bars doesnt run any plastic on the bar itself. Don't know if we have any pics of the bar alone.

 

just wanted to try the moderator stuff.....

 

do you think it would work better with or without plastic???

Most of us run the bar without the plastic but set it up so you can take the plate off and screw on another...this seems to be what a lot of people are doing. Plastic seems to work well and I imagine that it will give a softer hit when you come back but I don't know what type of plastic everyone is using. If your curious hit up Patrick from POB or Dan from XMX, I think they are both running the plastic on the bar.

 

I wouldn't take any advice from a guy who gives motor mount snapping aluminum sliders to his own brother.
