Last night Marisa's mom Barbara and her boyfriend Jeff riding his bike on rt 111 . Got hit by a car(not sure what happened). Both got thrown, Jeff died at seen. Barb is in serious condition, Got air lifted from seen to U-mass Worcester .It doesn't look good right now, she has a severe head trama. Brain is swelling badly. She has many fractured bones. Hooked up to all kinds of machines to keep her alive. I was at hospital all night got there at 1:30 last night and finally at around 7:00 this morning her family got to see her for 5 min.
I am sure Marisa would like it if everyone got in touch with her maybe not today but one day this week so call Marisa 234-4669.

Story has it a car cut them off on Rt 111 at intersection of east road, possibly something to do with a white lexus but, no word yet still under investigation. So, car possibly never hit them.
Went to hospital today
Barb has little movement in toes and hands. Doesn't move to talking
The swelling is bad. They put a drain in her head to keep swelling and pressure down. Left leg is broke, pelvis ,collar bone, and arm.

hey this is marisa, my moms doing ok still in icu and not moving, but not getting any worse. thanks everyone for the prays and the phone calls. me or shane will keep you informed. yeah and there is a pretty crappy rumor going on that she died but it not true.

Marisa, I don't think that we have met, but a lot of these guys know me. I lost my dad about a month ago. He had a stroke 3 months ago with severe swelling and thigs didn't work out for him. It takes a long time for things to settle down and the healing process to begin. If you ever need to talk about this with someone who has been through it, feel free to PM me with a number (unless you use shanes account I can PM #,s). Or, Ethan, BJ and Johnny have my #'s too.

I read your Dad was sick awhile ago but, I didn't know about him passing. Real sorry about that.
I lost my dad little over a year from short battle from cancer, brain tumor. Sucks really sucks everyday. I guess thats why you got friends and family to help ya thru it

 

Yeah, and beating the hell outta myself on the bike every night helps too. Not sure who Marisa is (someones girlfriend/sister) but if she needs an ear. My dad had a lot of brain swelling issues and I might be of some help.

Let everyone know Barb is doing alot better. Talked to Marisa this morning, her mom is slowly coming out of the comma, moving more, actually too much I've heard. Which is a blesssing.

O-yeah and Flametoe you met Marisa at liquid. most likely don't remember. First time I met you when I was in a sling. She is my neighbor other side of house, A very very good close friend.

bad news now. test came back and may take couple months for her to wake up. Very upsetting to even think about the news.
Everyone was hoping for the best . Barb has alot of damage to front of her head.
But, I will let Marisa tell involved details so ,hopefully she will log on. I feel she should be the one to let everyone know not me.
