Hello Teach - Teach stands for teacher I assume. I agree that it's fun while you are going thru it. Been there, done that and I've felt those after days like you guys are now. I stopped that kind of fun. Do I miss it? No way

yup, i'm a teacher...i'm 25 years young.

i doubt that any of us party like that everynight, but it is a different story when you have good friends whom you havent seen in a while....once in a while is ok.

as for chicks digging it: you are right, the type of chicks i'm interested would prolly not dig it, but then again, the type of chicks i'm interested in really can't be called chicks...more like young, professional women.

we may not see you there next time, but maybe sometime!!!

Glad to hear you don't always do the ruff stuff. I'm a professional woman too (Medical biller/coder). I get called a lot more than that, but I didn't want to scare ya off. I like to poke fun at people who abuse themselves. My intelligence always says to me "Why?" So now I ask. Sometimes I get myself into trouble when I ask... Lol.

Hey Teach - what do you teach? I don't remember any of my teachers being 25.

 

I'll be as young as 24 when I start in a public school district ... I think Teach works in a public school district, too (if I am not mistaken) ...

 

I still don't remember any of my teachers being under 30.... Could've but I was real young and probably thought they were old.

 

LOL ... that's ok ... maybe things were different "back in the day" and you had to be old to be a teacher (just messin with ya) - But now, for those of us that work our as*es of when we get out of highschool we can get real jobs, professional jobs, respectable jobs in the community (well ... a lot of people don't respect the teachers - LOL - but they should - WE shape the future) ... young and can retire early ... Life is grand for those of us that work for it ... LOL

 

i started teaching ina public school when i was 22 and fresh out of school...i learned my lesson, now i teach rich kids at a private school and life is easy!!!

160 days of work a year isnt half bad....

Why does private school have to go 160 days and public has to go 180 days? Does that seem fair? Hmmmm, it does pay to have money in more ways than one..... By the way Teach - Good for you. You sound like a guy who knows what he wants. What grade do you teach? Is the private school in this area? Am I getting too nosey?

 

i teach 6th through 9th this year, mostly middle school thouhg...

private schools dont have to deal with any rules or regulations handed down by the state...they are also NOT funded by the state, so the pay for teachers is actually less...but, you have way more freedom to do what you want, when you want, and how you want....

teachers at private schools are very independant, whereas public school teachers have to cover certain things and are tied down by legislation and other bs.

ust kidding with you but on a serious note I agree with you. That is why I do not drink or do drugs. They are bad for you and do not make you productive in life. I prefer to read books and go to school to get my masters while I am still in my 20's.
