Vandalism
Alright guys... i know this is going to spark a conflict, but it needs to be said.
While I am in favor of us advertising, and getting our name out, we need to be aware of the methods in which we are doing it. Recently, some people, whether it be members of the group or not, have been placing NHRR stickers in various establishments. While this does advertise for us, it is, in essence, vandalism and represents us in a bad light!
Here is a copy of the email that was sent to the group from a club OWNER in lowell.
Hello gentlemen,
I have been a biker for 34 years now, I have done every thing from flat track to motocross to ride with clubs. Always I respected other people, other peoples bikes and other peoples property. I am now a lobbyist for motor cycle rights. I would like to represent the motor cycle community knowing that the community deserves it. I own a very popular Rest. & Club in Lowell. Recently one of your members were in and stuck stickers on my nicely painted walls. If you do not want to respect my club than you are not welcome.
Thank you! Dave
I think we already have the police on our *** enough, let's not make it worse. Think twice before you place stickers on anything.
Thanks,
--Josh

stickers
yeah one of us went a little overboard last night, i can understand the owners point of view and we should write an apology to the owner. We dont need to have this kind of **** on our shoulders. The owner seems pretty cool and i am sure that he would accept it. I just think that we should do something.....
well, i'm glad to say that this guy seems to be pretty cool. Here's the response I got back from the apology i sent
Thank you fpr the response. We are a biker friendly location, so come athis summer in force and I will be glad to give you positive PR.

ok guys i did it and i will hand out the stickers next time so that we dont waist anymore, i think it would be better to just hand them out or leave them on peoples window or something like that............ IT WAS ME AND IM SORRY....................
no one's placing blame... i think most, if not all, of us got a kick out of it when we found out... unfortunately none of us were thinking of it the way we should have. live and learn!
but thanks for stepping up!
