New forum question.
New forum question.
First off I know this has been asked a million times. However I would like to know why this site cant have a Buy and Sell forum like Sportbikes.net or susa or any other motorcycle forum on the planet? Not asking to start drama, or get this thread deleted but I think the public has a right to know. Is it money, or something else????
Re: New forum question.
The classifieds here are too much of a hassle, and im not a big fan of stunttrader either. I'll put it like this... I dont want to sign up to a new site, and possible put money in a 3rd parties pocket just to sell my used tail section for $20 that I have laying around collecting dust... You know?

- The classifieds allows you to post just like in a forum except it requires users to imput the proper info where it is necessary. instead of people having titles that say BIKE FOR SALE now its organized so that it says HONDA CBR600F4i for sale in New Jersey...
- With a forum you have NO IDEA where anything is located... with a classifieds system it tells you how many miles away.
- with a forum you cant see what anything is unless you click on the thread to view the pictures. in the classifieds there are thumbnails visible from the main page.
- the forums have no way to rank a seller. The classifieds is like eBay where you can leave feedback for a buyer or seller.
- In a forum you can reply to a post. in the classifieds you can reply to a post.
- in a forum you can email a user... in the classifieds you can email a user.
- in a forum you can search for keywords in the classifieds you can search for keywords.
- They both count towards the final post count as well.
- StuntLife is huge and its easier to track items for sale with a classified system.
The forums you all have used alot, the classifieds is new.

I think those who actually religously contribute to the site should have a right to vote... or maybe those who pay for advertising on the site should have a right to make suggestions ...
...

Re: New forum question.
Why not have both??? I'll even moderate it. You have a sub forum for reviews. If people dont list the important things like Discription, price, and location the thread gets deleted. It would be very simple, easy and i volunteer to do the mod work. Do It!
