Boys, it would be my pleasure to finalise the film. It might be a bit of work, but I have to start somewhere! Like I mentioned before, If anyone doesnt have a video camera... PM me and maybe I can organise to come film you... or maybe you could come to Sydney and I can film you here (whatever works best).

Film everything... not just your riding, but if your fooling around in the shed fixing your bike or doing something stupid with your mates... it maybe useful to fill in short sections if you aren't able to get enough footage of your riding.

Andy, I think Uncle is planning a trip to NZ in February (I think..?). If I can organise some time off, I might see if I can come over too and help filming some of your section too!?

Bender I am in Canberra this weekend to visit Stu and You... so we'll get together and have a chat - push forward a few more ideas.... btw PM the name you wanna use for the film!

I have some footage already, it in avi format (yeas, they are like 30megs for 3 seconds) but I wanto get more.

Just another thing to mention, how long is the vid you wanna make, cos we prolly need some ideas about how many minutes each should contribute, or should I say what is the maximun eg 10 minutes?

I have also some postie bike action which ill throw in as a laugh

 

You only want stunt action...... or are you keen on some kneedown **** aswell (like X-Factors "All twisted and pucked up" vid)? Got a couple of mates that might be filming some in a couple of weeks.

You know for sure that I'm in. I will go hard out to make my little section work. Just remember, not so much stunters here in NZ, but bike hoons, all good though! If you want a name to go by for the NZ stuff, I do all my bits and bobs under "East Coast New Zealand".

Suggestion:

In response to the time limit of each section... depending on the song and how many riders you have in your crew/state/country (which ever it may be for the section) basically the length of the song would be your time limit... if you got heaps of guys in your section, we can split it into 2... have the first half to one song in the beginning, then the second half to another song in near the end.

I would like to make a nice little intro with titles and all for each rider and their crew (if they have one). The total length of the film should go any longer than 50mins (then it just gets too long to watch... no matter how good the film is, it can drag a little if you keep it going for too long). So if your area doesn't have a lot of riders, we can maybe make a 2 part in one song... you fade black... title... fade in with the next bunch of riders.

One question though, what date are we going to put on for all footage etc to be in to Mike by? Mid, end of March?

 

I really like the Idea of aiming to have footage in by the end of April 05, the weather has dies off then and it just gives everyone just a little more time to get their S1ht together.

Some other things we should consider as a priority is
- Legality of US riding on public roads like a fools.
- MUSIC we need local bands that want to let us use their music for free.

We could maybe put a kneedown section in the bonus footage... but I think stunts are the go?? But it depends on what everybody else thinks too cause it what you guys all want (its your film) I am just helping you guys put it together and get it out there!!

Everybody can do what they want... if you don't want to break the road rules... DON'T! I really couldn't see it being that big a problem... If somebody does something that makes the 6 O'Clock News... it would bring alot of attention, other than that?? Maybe everybody should give themselves a pseudonym (spelling)?? Its like "Bender" and all the names you got on here.



Another thought is to just sell them overseas... I know its kinda a bummer that other aussies wont get to buy it directly, but I don't think the cops in UK/Europe or USA/Canada would give to ***** about some aussie dudes doing their thing?

 

wow...sounds like this dvd is gunna happen...i'm all for it and think that we should use our names like Uncle H, Bender, VTR stunter (me) etc...

Footage to be in by April 05 sounds cool...gives us heaps of time to improve and select the best footage (and get my 12's scrapeing)

Fu(k just selling only overseas....we wanna be known over here too by other riders...maybe even invited to perform at events and etc....just show no number plates AT ALL and don't show ya face while stunting on public roads..


I like the sounds of local bands....i'm sure we'll have there co-operation, considering it's a 'free plug' for them.



What about as part of the 'extra's ' i'll do 'some stuff' on my street registered turbo busa???? how does that sound.

I think Knee down stuff is good, If we put together a DVD that everyone who likes Motorsport (I'm also thinking Sliders/Drags/what ever) can watch it will open it to a broader market.

Also My BOSS has a crazy 4WD Track and Mud pit at his farm down the coast there was a mag write up about it and he has offered some footage of this sort of thing as well.

I want some funny crap with kangaroos, I am laughing now just thinking about typing this but, if each one of us came up with something funny do with kangaroos could add some more humor to the DVD.
This is my Idea so no one else can pinch it, Kangaroo Suite and wheelies etc....maybe maccas drive through....

I have no problem with Knee down, as long as it's exciting. I'm with Bender on the wider appeal, but I wouldn't want us to go to far outside the realm of what we are into. At the end of the day we just have to see what sort of stuff is submitted in April, till then, just film stuff!

Legality, smegality. If you personally want to ride on the road, up to you I reckon. No plates or faces, shouldn't really be a worry. Personally, I love road stuff. I have lots of liablility wording/disclaimers etc if you want them Mike.

Has anybody thought about contacting any other Aussie groups, those dudes out in Perth maybe?

I think we should just leave the DVD for bike stunts only (+knee sliding in the extras section) This vid is made by us - for us and for other riders/stunters. From what i am aware of , there isn't a 'Aussie only...sportsbikes stunts only vid' avalible....this is a great opportunity for all of of us to 'SELL OURSELVES' and our 'SPORT' to the biking community (including organisations like MA, who arn't really interested in us or this sport...my 2cents), and the wider community, like Event organisers and etc. This is our time to show everyone just how much excellent talent we have and the best thing about it, it is in AUSTRALIA.

So guys, come on and grasp this unique opportunity around the fu(kin throat and FU(KIN SELL OURSELVES and our SPORT.


At the end of the day, if it includes different types of motorsports i'll still be happy and submit footage, but i will know we've missed a greater opportunity.
