Aussie Film
Re: Aussie Film
How about we do this: Mike has mentioned 50 minutes of film... so IF we cant fill the 50 minutes then lets include the 'other' stuff. Have it in the back of your minds tho, but lets not complicate things as yet.
On my side of things, I will use this film as a tool to see if I can get form of sponsorship (financial) to help me with the road trip planned as it should give them huge exposure Australia wide :YEAH

Re: Aussie Film
Well it looks like the kneedown action is a maybe on the main film, most probably on the bonus material.
Like I mentioned earlier... if anyone needs a camera man... just PM and we can try and hook something up!

If you don't have anyone to help you out... give me a PM and I will come and give you a hand. Might have to start organising a couple of rides with all the Sydney boys?? that would be a good way for everyone who wants some footage to get some... we can have a few cameras tag along and get what we can (anything that you don't want to be used just say so and it gets left out).

Re: Aussie Film
Mike - I take it you want footage in raw AVI format (not compressed). Do you want strips of footage seperately or combined with fade-in and fade out type a thing all in one
? I ask because I want to know how you intend to edit the footage and put it together. I have already done a sample (to get my MA stunt lic for the international comp) where I have just faded in and out of footage with a bit of music in the background. But its better for the one person to edit so it has the same feel throughout the vid. Let me know what you prefer.

)You gotta select the right footage and combine it together with a good music track. You could have the most awesome trick caught on film... but because the way its edited into a film, it can make it look totally average. Shakey camera work also ruins stunt films alot too (my camera work isn't perfect by no means). A lot of shakey camera work really annoys the **** outta me when I am watching a film (unless its specifically done to create an effect and its pulled off well)!
If you have put together any edits... I would love to see 'em too! That goes for anybody else too!
Re: Aussie Film
I didn't mean to rain on your parade guys, I just thought that when you get a group of quick riders on an open road, not a track with their kneedown..... it would put a different view to motorcycling. I'm with you guys, if theres a stunt show at a track day I'll come down and watch, not everyone on the track is that good to watch.
Let us know if theres still interest and I'll talk to a couple of mine and 000's mates, because they were talking of doing one either way.
