Farked Up
Farked Up
Well, here's the damage. I was asked by a guy I know to help him out and do his courier run for him while he goes into to have an operation. He'd had three people previously back out on doing it for him, I knew he needed help, so I said yes.
Anyways, first thing he tells me when I turn up is that training is unpaid. I thought "this is abit ****ed up" but what the hell, it's not like I'm busy so a few unpaid days is no biggie. I take over his run, now, no ****, I'm working my **** off, a solid 12 hours of running around like a ****wit, without even enough time to stop for ten and eat a sammy. No worries, monies good, I can live with this.
Okay, next, I crash his van.............oops, yep, I ****ed it, reversed into a trailer and toasted the **** end. Damn, I'm feeling really bad, as you do, hire another van and carry on. That's life!
The next night, the guy that I'm helping out turns up and demands that I pay for the hire of the rental van!!! He's got no insurance to cover the hirage while his one's getting fixed!
I feel really bad for him, as you would expect, hey, I ****ed his damn van! I go away and do another few days work, then on payday he says he's keeping my cash. I've worked over two weeks at 12 hours a day and I'm told I'm not getting a cent. As you can imagine, I packed a paddy, gave him his keys and left.
So, now I'm back with lots of free time to look at SL, and throughly peeved off at the whole thing. Very frustrated and angry, so there, that's it, I'm just venting cos it's the next day and I'm sitting at the puter.
Well, the moral of that story............................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...don't get a farking job, stay at home, it's much more fun.
p.s How's this for a laugh, I nearly looped the old man's Triumph Sprint, that I'd just picked up for him that day, on Sunday. Right in front of him, I just told him it was a precision controlled very high wheelie!!

All that bullsh1t = Smack in head.
Mate I can't begin to tell you what I would be doing if I spend 2 weeks working and then have an accident at work in the work vehicle and have to pay for it, if he doesn't have insurance that’s his responsibility and his problem. by all means If I had crashed his van I would offer to help out but not 2 weeks pay that’s not right.
I hope he wasn't a good friend other wise he just lost one from the sounds of it.
I like not working too, problem is I can't afford to ride and not work DOH!
Anyone got some good lotto numbers?

Re: Farked Up
Man I know the feeling...
The place I am currently employed at is only a relatively new company... I busted my *****, travelling to the stores that nobody else wanted to handle cause they were run down and in the city (which is always a bitch to travel to in peak hour traffic in the mornings and nights from out west)!
Then after I fix the ****en place up and start to get things rolling in the right direction... they move some lazy schmuck in (who gets paid more than me cause he has previous experience in this line of work) and he runs the place back in the ground.
They call me up again, just stuffing the next store that I am working on getting in shape and move me back to the old store to fix that one up again (and it took close to a year to really get the ball rolling)!
You see that **** happening all the time... people take some of their employees for granted! What pisses me off more is people who take their friends for granted!
Dude, if he was a friend, I wouldnt call him one anymore... and two next time he asks for help, you know where you can tell him to stick his van...
UP HIS ****!
I hate work... lets start a sindicate with all the riders... $10 bucks each, get a systems whatever we can afford! split the winnings between each contributor!
:
maybe we'll get lucky!
Keep you chin up Laza, lifes a bitch... but life goes on... just take the good with the bad!
