Stunters in Melbourne/victoria

Just looking around if there are many riders in Melbourne that stunt?? Havent seen any competitions advertised anywhere really, only thing is the annual bike show-and even that doesnt really promote stunting at all.

I know its huge over in the states..just look at this forum. So anyone with info about stunting in Melbourne,or know of people that stunt;please post here.

Cheers.

Yea, good stuff. I lived in Wellington for about 5 years, good place. I'm in Sth Korea at the moment, working, but will be back in NZ in about 6 months. Actually, I'm fighting with the boss at the moment so it might be sooner Not sure where I'll move back to, I'm originally from Hastings, in Hawkes Bay, funnily enough been thinking bout going back to Wellington.

Do you ride, stunt, yep, I'm a dumbarse, just looked at your profile, R1 gives it away Will you buy a bike once you move to NZ?

G'day

I caught up with a few mates last year, that I hadn't seen for a while, They told me about a place in laverton that bikes would gather on a friday night and do a few stunts.
I went with them a couple of times at the end of last summer and one night there was about 9 bikes.
apparantly it used to be a really big thing, until some guy got killed doing a christ with no helmet on.
It may be starting off again now that the warmer weather has started, but I don't know as yet.

If you want to know the address email me.

Mick

Cool Larriken. At the moment,Im getting into track days-but frequently go for a ride with mates, and on those quiet roads-am sooo keen to learn some stunts. Im only on basics at the moment*learning wheelies*,but you have to start somewhere

When I make the move over to NZ,I'll be taking my bike with me. Ive enquired about it,and its not going to be as expensive as I initally thought it would be...one things for sure though, there are some AWESOME roads over there,I couldnt believe it when my mates over there took me for a drive to show me round.

Yeah thanks Ratter, would love to get out and see some stunting,my e mail addy is Yoda88@iprimus.com.au. Bummer about the guy coming off, guess thats the risk we have to face even in daily riding;but never think of it at the time.

Cheers

OZR1, just a quick question while I'm thinking about it. How much does it cost to ship a bike to NZ? I've been thinking of picking up another bike from Aussie on the way home. More choice in Aussie than back at home.

Believe it or not,but it'll only set you back $800incl tax and any other additional costs. I was thinking of selling my R1 before moving there, but when I found out the cost to ship it there,I figured id be better off keeping it.

And yeah youre right, theres more choice here...ALOT more, You can pick up an 03 model with low kms now for around $14g on road-which is damn good

cheers,
