G'DAY fellow stunters! Im new to here & fairly new to the scene. just want to know if there is any stunters from melbourne?? Is there any safe places away from the law that you guys know of?? I would like to get a bunch of guys together & approch calder park raceway and see if we could use their place as a practice pad, would any of you guys be keen? I don't know how we would be with the insurance side of things. for listening to my idea please let me know what you think. (i know its a long shot but i think its worth a try) :YEAH

 

Their are some stunters around melbourne, no groups that I know of, just groups of mates.

There is an industrial estate just off boundary road (off the ring road) in laverton that used to get a lot of bikes on a friday night, but has been quiet due to the cold weather, probably pick up when the weather gets warmer.

cheers for the info, I'll have to check out that area you mentioned when the weather heats up a bit. Do you guys set a date to meet up or is it a every weekend thing? what area are you from?

NOt an organised thing, it just happens, just like Dandy drags used to be.
I have only been there twice, but it was as the weathar was getting cooler.
Normally doesn't fire up until 9-10 pm on a friday night.

 

OK thanks for that, I'll have to get down there one night when things heat up a bit. you wouldn't know how many blokes get down there would you?

 

There where 10 their one night I was there, but it used to be fairly big according to one of my mates until some guy got killed there doing a christ with no helmet on

 

that sucks! but WTF was he stunt'n with no helmet on for? mate that's F@#&ing asking for something bad to happen!

you said you have been to laverton twice, where did you stunt before you heard of laverton? Im in the north/ eastern suburbs are you around that area?
sorry about asking so many questions just trying to find out where everything stands. Im a bit on how to meet other stunters I wouldn't mind hook'n up with other guys so I can push harder with my ride'n, cause stunting by yourself kind a sucks a bit if you know what I mean.
