HIS Hose ftw!

I just got a 2m long custom made while you wait stainless steel braided brake line with nylon jacket from HIS Hose for $100 (hizzle hoes lol). Service was top notch - highly recommended.

Dual caliper rear brake gonna be all hooked up this weekend. :YEAH

Re: HIS Hose ftw!

check out my rusty piece! lolol

do you think the reservoir will work ok at that angle? i expect to only be using it when i'm vertical but i'm worried it may starve/**** air due to the position of the tube out of the reservoir. i can relocate it but tell me now before i hook it up and bleed it.

Don't think that reservoir setup will work.If you look the fluid actually goes in right at the top where I circled.
Keep an eye on your caliper mount breaking away , mine did and I ended up making a brace from one mount to the other. Will post a pic tonight.
Anyone got a pic of Mingay's setup?

Re: HIS Hose ftw!

yeah i know what youre saying about the res. i thought the same deal. only saving thing is when im in a wheelie the angle is much better to drain fluid down the hose. i might bleed it horizontal and keep it really full then figure out a better mounting angle.

so you reckon the brackets need bracing? damn gotta take it off again. i guess i should get both sides braced.

The other thing Nam is thats going to hurt your legs abit comming down from a highchair.
I used the rear res from a R6.Its only small and you can mount it away from the master.
If you want me to post pics just holla.

I like the Dual Caliper setup, did you just get another one welded onto the bottom?
Is it any harder to change the rear wheel?
