Coolant??
Re: Coolant??
as squid as this is.... i searched the switch idea couldnt find much helpfull info... can sombody give me the low down on what i need (here do u get this switch) and how to attach it??
Re: Coolant??
maybe even buy a BIGGER thermo fan from the wreckers... wire it up as normal but have a trigger switch along the line so you can switch it on full time like Unc said...
if you earth the wire that leads to the thermo it will turn the fan on... you can try it now by unpluggin the connection and pressing it to the radiator..

Re: Coolant??
cheers dude ill try that earthing thingi for a short term fix....
my radiator is like 6 inches buy 4 inches i dont think i could get a bigger fan
but where do u get one of these switchs... since i got me pipe it takes like 10 mins to warm it up so having the fan on at when i turn it on may not be the beat idea coming into winter

Re: Coolant??
Super Cheap or any other auto shop, if you fit the switch you can leave you bike to operate the fan as it used to or you can turn it on manually. solves both your problems...
Pffft winter....seriously whats the coldest night you guys see up there?
5deg? try -3 just this week!
