The first steps to form a National riders Association has been held via MSN and some interesting points have been made.

Point to remember for all is that this is an associtation for all, the main aim is to join forces across the country and have an official mouth piece for all Stunters across the country, therefor allowing the sport to move in a direction consistant enough to make stunting a sport that lasts well into the future.

1) A commitee has to be formed before any further steps can be made.

Committee positions that are required to be filled are. Any stunt rider from any state can nominate themselves for a position they would preffer.

If you would like to help with committee positions please PM me with what you would like to do so i can post your name for all to vote on at a later date, yet to be set.


2) The association needs to be registered in a state, all in attendance voted to redister in QLD, due to ease of application and approval as well as BrisR1 having previous experiance in this area.


3) The first AGM (Annual General Meeting) will be set at a later date once all information has been passed on to as many riders as possible, if you know someone that doesnt get onto OSB often start getting them involved, we need to all support each other and numbers will be crucial. Also pass on information to other websites to help this all work.


4) The members in attendance made a short list of names to call the association, a poll will be set up to note what all of you would preffer. It s in your best interests to vote as this will be what all of you as riders will be associated with in the future.


5) The question regarding affiliation with MA was raised. The question being do we or dont we affiliate with MA. A vote was taken, result being at this stage to go with affiliation with MA.

Also stated was if in the future this didnt turn out the way we would all like then steps to separate would be put in pace then.


6) It was agreed by all in attendace that Matt Mingay be the only point of contact to MA at this stage. Matt has been liasing with MA for some time and has good inside links. Main reason for this is to prevent to many peeps asking the same questions to the same people at MA. This will only serve to frustrate the organisation we want on our side.


7) Question was posed regarding a website for the Association.
It was agreed that once the first steps we made to get registration and mebership, a website for the members would be sourced and made asap.


Cool People interested in getting involved should make note of any questions they have for the next meeting being on Sunday 5th March 2006, 7:30pm AEST.
