New Zealand's first stuntskills event

I'm organising the first New Zealand Stuntskills event. Got the drag strip booked for 8 April 2006 and we're combining stuntskills and dragwars. Also planning to do the Chicks Dig Scars launch the night before.

Any tips/ideas gratefully received from you guys to make sure the day runs smoothly.

And Larriken.... what can I say? Priorities mate, priorities. You can always get a new best mate!!!

Any of you Aussies wanna hop over and give the Kiwis the learn??

It's actually called The 'Scared Sheep Squadron' Stuntskills / Dragwars Event.

Is that ok with you?

Safety will be my biggest concern. I'm a paramedic so I don't want to have to work as well. Will have an ambulance there, and quite a few of my colleagues ride bikes and will be there too. Probably have the largest number of medical personnel at a motorsport event in history.

Will have some scrutineering of the bikes as well.

What else can I do?

Dude that's awesome news, congratulations....

We run all the bikes one by one up the strip, then we do a U turn and head back down, problem here is people are allways waiting around and you don't get as much time on the track.

We just got back from Townsville and they were just running two lanes in each direction meaning you don't need a marshal at each ent and people can go as they please, if you go about it this way I would suggest making a very big point to the riders about keeping rider distance from each other when riding the last thing you need it someone to have a crash then get run down by the bloke to close wheeling behind him...

I wan't to see some pics...hope it goes well for ya.

Thanks mate. Don't worry there will be pics galore. I know of at least one professional photographer who will be there. Shame we won't get a feature in Kiwi Rider magazine - the Editor hates stunts and won't have a bar of it. Silly really when the general motorbiking population loves it.

Yeah we do - I'm scouring the bike shops at the moment for the latest issue - should be here by now you'd think. Think I should get myself a subscription. And yes I was contemplating contacting them about putting something in about it. Bloody good magazine that one.

Nice!

Oh and I've just found out that the Editor of Kiwi Rider has had a change of heart - not only will there be a story, but they'll be giving away subscriptions as prizes. Sweet!

Actually I'm a dudette! I'm head mama of the Scared Ewe Squadron which oversees the Scared Sheep Squadron. At this stage I'm completely talentless in the stunting department, but I'm working on it.

And with the amount of time she spends on the Net during the day anyone would think she's an IT Bum who does nothing but post ***** all day or something!! (Except she's already said she scrapes people off the road for a living )
So get back to work Stooge and Bender
