who else gets hassled by family and friends bout riding bikes. some just dont understand the love we have for this sport. and that it is a sport. personally i'm getting sick of hearing it. y do u want a bike for. didnt u learn from ur last crash. whats the point in it. y do u do it for. what do u get out of it. ur crazy. y dont u sell the bike. one of my uncles saw my stoppie crash then saw a clip of some dude rolling a 300ft stoppie and started telling me i have to do it like that. y cant u do it like that, u have to do this and that. so i asked him, can u do it. no. so shut the **** up ****head. just before that he's telling me to sell the bike and that i'm an idiot for doin this. sorry for the long read. its pissing down outside and had a ride organised today. should be doin a wheelie right now so i thought i would talk crap to all u peeps here anyway. i'm done winging for now. just wondering who else is in the same boat as me. i'm sure i will not be alone on this

 

I dont think i get it as bad as you JB but I do get it.
I know a few girls who love going for rides, but there friends and family who dont like bikes sometimes say those things.
They just dont understand!


ppl with opens minds who have been for a ride with me and trust me change there mind, but I only do what they want me to do, ie, little wheelie first, then if ok a bigger one.
I dont go stupidly fast unless they want to and are ready!
Most new pillions love the rush of taking off full ball!!! :YEAH
You just gotta make sure they trust you and feel safe.

I know the feeling. basically, I dont expect anyone to understand unles they are stunters themselves. So for me its like "Yeah yeah, shut the fark up" attitude.

My wife doesnt give a rats about stuntin, but shes concerned about my safety, which is normal for a non-stunter.

So bottom line is, if the peeps you talk to dont stunt, dont even bother to try to justify why you stunt. Just treat their comments like water off a ducks back.

I think its like that for a lot of people and particular sports... if you havent or dont try it, most of the time you will never understand the reason behind the insanity!

 

i think she actually knows what stunting is now everytime i say i'm goin out for a practice she will reply with "uh u goin to do ur stunt thing" she used to hate it and prolly still does but since my crash i think she has relised it happens and u get over it and get back on the bike. she just keeps telling me to take it easy. she actually laughs at my avatar now basically i think she has relised she has to accept it coz i wont give it up coz she doesnt want me doin it.

My grandparents saw my bike and told me that some day I will grow up...
I had a girlfriend of 3 years break up with me when I bought the new gixxer back in July, saying that it would kill her if anything happen to me, so she just ripped my heart out and left.

 

Sorry dude, but it looks like she needed the bike as an excuse to end things. Cos if she REALLY wanted you, she would be beggin for two up stuntin (well, maybe not, but surely not to leave!) ****, if that was the case, my wife would of left me years ago (still cant figure out why she hasnt )
