yeh what age guys? and what bike? im going to see if the 500 sells( anyone wanna buy it and buy a 200 what kind of dirtbike should i get and waht size ive only ridin a 50 before.... it has to be under a grand so the bike will be ghetto style but i might be getting a job so i can do stuff with it

15 , Suzuki TS185 , bought for $125.Exhaust held on with wire , no air filter , seat was a bit of foam held on with wire , killswitch broken off so a cut off tack hammered in (went halfway through me thumb one day ).Squeezed a road tyre on the back so it did awesome donuts on grass but had to be careful with the back brakes coz the cam would go over center and the brakes would lock on till you got off the bike and pushed 'em off
Yes it was just a little ghetto

 

Ohh yeah had it for about 5 years , did an AWESOME custom paintjob (red Suzuki S on matt black tank) and sold it to some sucker for $150

 

yeh the brakes on me and my friends 50 stick on and we kick it and off we go... man i want a new bike so much

5yrs old learnt on a XR75, that was a sweet bike....wasn't mind and I crashed that thing like 20 times a day...

I reckon for under the $100 mark you might be in the running for a 90's 250cc 2 Stroke MXer, CR,YZ etc, they are robust and cheap as to rebuild cant get rego, for an MXer. if you want a 4 stroke maybe a XR250?? I don't like any 4 stroke dirt bikes that were made before 98 as the we mostly slow un responsive peices of *****... unless you had a Euro bike but then who the hell would want one of them....

 

Rode the odd dirt bike when I was a kid, but only started riding properly when I was 16 and got my Ls. Started off on a GPZ250 Ninja!!! They onto a 92 RGV, 97 Gizzer 750 and the 98 Blade

 

Well my dad bought me a bike for my 1st b'day and took me for a spin on it and burnt my leag (still have that scar to this day), but I probably didn't start riding the thing by myself till about 4 or 5... I was young and don't quite remember the age... I was always getting doubled on other peoples bikes from a very young age though... got a few photos lying around at my mums place... I might try and dig them up and post a few.

 

RGV250...thats what i had last year until i bought the Blade...great fun when they are running properly!!!!!

Had my first ever go at a bike when i was about 10... it was a CT110 postie :YEAH

Funnily enough, just thinking about it, took me all of 5 minutes to get confident, so hoped on a 125 (cant remember brand) and about 3 minutes later fell off hurting my left foot/ankle

Next time I got to ride was when I got my licence at 16.9months age...

 

ohhh, and whats real weird is that my daughter rode her first bike at about the same age (10) on my postie bike... how weird is that!!!

 

had a pee wee 50 as a kid then got a 93 rgv when i was 20. bought it off a friend 4 $2200 thrashed it crashed it gave it a $2 paint job and sold it to some guy for $3300 then bought my 03 gixer.

 

5 years old 1971 honda 50.still ride it just kiddin dirt bike last 5 years KX500 :YEAH :YEAH

 

6yrs on a JR50! :YEAH

 

Was 4 on my older bro's Z50 that i burned the inside of my leg on cause it didn't have an exshaust cover. Then i moved to the green machine (a mini bike that my old man built powered by a 15hp lawn mower engine) that was set up like a harley chopper. Got a KTM 520 replica for my 5th birthday (only down side it was electric) and then i got the Honda 70 ex scramble bike when i was 8. For my 12 b'day i got my bro's old RM 125. Bought a VFR and now the gixxer with many more to come in the future hopefully.

 

8 yrs old on a Yammy 75 or 80cc. Then a Suzi DS80 then licence and rego'd bikes

 

i was about 20 (so ive been riding 2 years) first bike was cbr250rr but the first bike i rode was a honda cb250 at the learners test

 

If only all our parents were that cool, I wanted a RM80 like the wern't gonna make em any more, at like 12 and my old man wouldn't buy the neighbours one....bastich!....he ended up getting me a DT175 and like that was any comparison to a MXer....He told me that he wouldn't help me get another bike, so I sold the DT when he was on holidays (gotta love mum) and bought a YZ250.....yeah baby!!! then 3 days later it blew up....
