Question New Rider!!!HELP!!!

Ok I am really new at mx, My bike is a small 200xr 4 stroke. When jumping, why does my bike sometimes nose dive?

Ok I lift my rear when jumping, but normally where should I park it near the gas tank or rear of the seat??

Well thats just two of the many questions I have
can you help??

Best advice I got so far was if in doubt roll on the throttle!!

Re: New Rider!!!HELP!!!

Don't let off the throttle until both tires have left the face of the jump. Approach the face of the jump with your weight centered over the middle of the bike, legs slightly bent, and let the bike's suspension compress and do the rest. A good rule of thumb riding position while on the ground is to be sitting up close to the tank if possible, especially in tight turns.

Re: New Rider!!!HELP!!!

Also tapping the rear brake in the air will also bring up the front end. If you chop the gas off rite befor the face of the jump your *** end will go high and put you in a nose dive in the air
