hey everybody im looking to get a pair of alpinestar boots im looking at the tech 6 and the tech 8 i would like to know the diffrence in the two. if anyone has these boots i would really appreciate there input.

i think the difference is that the tech 8 has a slipper that u slip on before u put your boot on makes them really comfy great boot :YEAH

the diffrence is one has a 6 at the end and the other has a 8.

oops, posted wrong thing.

anyways, i have tech 6's. The 8's have metal buckles instead of plastic, they also have that removable booties that is nice to clean. I got the 6's because the 8's didn't fit me quite right. I guess the way my foot is the 6's fit better. I think the 8's felt a little wide in the toes for me. Try them both on before you buy them, they are suppose to be basically the same minus those small things, but sometimes they fit different.

both are great boots. i love my tech 6's. i won't wear anything else.

GABAGE!!!i killed a pair of tech 6's in less then a year.like i said.GABAGE!!buy fox or hi pionts if you can find them.

wow, that sucks man....maybe you got a lemon. I beat the crap out of mine and they take the abuse well.

I have the tech 8 and it is the best boot ever. When u look at all the pros and wonder why they all have this boot it is because it is the BEST. spend the 300$ and buy them .It was well worth the money
