Re: cr250...13yr old
well i have ridden 125s quite a few times and i feel like i can easily control them and i wont be racing much......and im short on cash so i willl prollly end of on the 2 fiddy.....ill be 14 when i get it and i learn really fast so i can get used to it within a few months
EDIT: ive ridden my friends yz250f and it was really easy to control too and easy to keep on the power(and i was only around 5'4 and 100 lbs then)

Re: cr250...13yr old
i know that i was just adding the point that i might get bored jumping a 125....and i learn quick so when i start jumping i might end up needing a little bit more for competitions and such
Re: cr250...13yr old
Lots of guys use 125's, you're 13 man, a 125 will be fine. A 250 is just overkill for no reason. You gotta lose the I learn everything ultra fast thing, or you're gonna be learning how to deal with some broke bones ultra fast.

no no no there may be slight differences in the bikes but a cr will do anything any other bike can. go with the cr.they are light and handle well.

Re: cr250...13yr old
Honda CRs are freakin garbage
!!! Thier 125s are gutless, even though they handle well and have good suspension. And the 250s got so many electrical crap going on that the motor doesnt know what it wants to do. If you truly want a 125 with power go with a KTM or get the 250F. The KTM is the ONLY 125 that will keep up with a 250F, all others get left in the dust. BUT its your bike, your the one who has to ride it, and good luck with whatever you choose.

late 90s (97-00) yz 125 are kick *** bikes ....i have a 99 cr 125 and i love how much more power my buddies 99 yz 125 has, oh and unless you want to have a real steep learning curve get a 125 and forget about a 250
PS: unless you have been racing for years and have mad bike skills ( which i doubt that you do...cause it sounds like you dont know **** about dirt bikes) i suggest learning to ride before you even start bullshiting about hitting gaps
walk before you run skywalker

ive been riding for five years and i know plenty of '****' about dirtbikes but i suck at making decisions....and yes i have already hit gaps/ramps even on my KX85(they were only about 60 feet but gaps none the less)
if you want to test my knowledge of dirtbikes go ahead
