Re: Jumping

larger table tops are always a good place to start a rook...if you come up short it wont be nearly as disasterous as if you came up short on a double.

but other wise point it strait pin it and stay loose in the air...DONT FREAK OUT!!!!!!!!!

Re: Jumping

that is something you definitely never want to ask ppl online!! it depends on the angle and pitch and terrain etc....ask someone at the track when you go

if at all poss. you should try to jump off to the side(land on flat) so you can build up to the speed/distance you need to downside clean. Good luck rook!

Re: Jumping

a good way to learn is on a step up jump

cause if you bail your not far from the ground and you get a good feal on how your bike reacts off a jump

what he said, and all you gotta do is roll over it a few times, get the feel for it and when you decide to hit it keep a steady throttle. the worst you could prolly do is case it, and that doesn't even hurt on a jump that size.

Re: Jumping

umm...not to hate but i'm confused. If you have a cr250 how have you never hit a jump? Please don't say this is your first bike you've ever owned, and if it isn't, how have you owned bikes before and never done more than a 2 foot jump?

i hit rythm sections and get more than 2 foot of air.....

damn, we have tracks all over here. cali is too expensive. come to indiana. 60$ a year membership at our local track and thursdays is pre-race day so it's 20$ (they clean the track up real nice and keep it nice between rides). Other than that, sunday-wednesday costs nothing.
