McGrath Retires

Say it aint so.... apparently Jeremy McGrath, the Greatest Supercross racer of all time has called it quits. Cycle News, supercross.com, and 2wf.com are all reporting on it. The opening round in Anaheim wont be the same. It will be weird seeing him in the press box and not on the track.

Oh yeah, its for real. I attended the first supercross in Anaheim and they did a tribute to MC ,he rode out for an introduction with the big screen showing a retrospect to his career. He will doing a farewell tour for at least the first 7 rounds. He is spending a lot of time in the pits and signing a lot more autographs.

yeah its true. From what i saw on speed vision he said he couldnt perform at 100% anymore. He also said that he will be representing ktm and bud light all year long at every race, but just not riding.

**** sucks. i remember being like 14 and watching him roll up through the 125's then the 250's. he's a legend for sure

Demuths mechanic jack and I were chating at the lastweeks arenacross and he was saying that Demuth was gonna train for supercross this summer! I dont believe it. If he does take it again this year, why would he quit arenacross. no way he could do both. But if he does make the jump he'll either rip it or kook it.

Guess Jeremy is just burntout. owell
