FMX noob time...sorry

wud up guys Ive been thinkin lately about getting into FMX...got an F4i stunt bike but Im gonna get rid of it and hit the dirt and I was just wondering if theres any specific good starter bikes? ive only ridden a few buddies dirt bikes just trail riding and ****** around...the two main bikes im lookin around for is either a CR250R or a newer CRF250R which would be better? or is a 250R too much bike to start out on? would a CRF150R Expert be any good?

Side note: Im only like 5'7" and my fat *** weighs in around 185ish prob more like 190...I kno on my buddies KX250 I felt ****** short as hell on that thing I doubt my height makes a difference but I didnt kno about my weight...like if a 150R could scoot my lard around fast enough.

again sorry I kno this is a shitty newb question.

Nobodys got nothin to say?

I see a fair amount of ppl rockin the CR125s...I dunno if those are young kids tho cuz I may be as short as a 15yr old...but I sure as hell weight a lot more lol...

but for real CR125 vs CRF150R vs CRF250R vs CR250R

Read my thread on how to get into fmx, It's not as easy as you think though. As far as a bike, go with any newer 250 2 stroke, you can use a 4 stroke but the extra cost of repairs and maintenance isn't worth it for freestyle.

I dont think its going to be easy by any means but I love adrenline and when your stomach drops so I figure why not give it a shot.

Re: FMX noob time...sorry

Sticky stunts is in the same category as you, he's a good street stunter who just got into mx/ fmx. I haven't ridden with him in a while but he started on a 250 2 stroke, he bought a 450 so he could just play ride and get the hang of it better. But my opinion is go 250 2 stroke, they cost less in every way so if it doesn't work out or you break a part you aren't out as much. P.S. My vote is in on either a Suzuki or a KTM.
