kevin started riding in august and that was his first bike. I remember that fool doing 2 ft high wheelies down 1431 and then I told him about rear brake and he ordered a cage and was catching idle in a month..he picks **** up fast. he's jumping to highchair now with full fairings

the TTR stalls because the flaots get full in the carb.


turn your fuel selector halfway between "on" and "off"

this will restrict the fuel flow slightly, the trick is to find the perfect balance between on and off, if you have it to close to off, you'll lose power in the top end (bike won't be able to reach high RPM's cause it's not getting enough gas) , if you have it to close to "on" it'll keep bogging out.


i have my fuel drain line plugged RIGHT into a 20oz bottle, when i first put it on the bike would ALWAYS bog out when going slow, cause it couldn't breathe(to much gas coming out).

put the selector halfway between on and off, and it runs fuggin awesome.

i wrecked hard tonight tryin to shift from 2nd to 3rd and it tought me 2 things


1. a ttr can THROW YOU ON YOUR ***!!!!

glad it worked for you.


to switch gears in a wheelie, forget the clutch.

just start a wheelie, put some upward pressure on the shifter, and then go up high and let off the gas.

the enginebrake will allow the bike it slip into the next gear without damaging the tranny.

one time i thought i was in 4th ont he hundo, when i was in 2nd.

clutched that ***** HARD! came flying up, i pulled the clutch in and mashed the brake, worked like a charm.
